JOB SUMMARY: Provides risk management consultation services to a portfolio of large and/or complex accounts within a given territory or operational unit. Responsible for developing or enhancing loss control policies, practices and new products for Commercial and Personal Lines. Serves as a consultant to loss control and home care associates and outside clients/vendors.

Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in science or engineering
- 4 years EHS experience in a manufacturing environment; demonstrated communication skills (verbal, written and presentation); knowledge of regulatory compliance (i.e. EPA, OSHA, DNR); and leadership, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Salary: $55-65K

The position entails visiting job sites to direct, support and encourage safe behavior and provide feedback to employees on safe work practices; training employees in various safety practices and troubleshooting issues; developing and recommending new safety policies and best practices; actively participating in monthly safety meetings; investigating accidents and injuries so that the root cause and means and methods of prevention can be identified to prevent reoccurrence; and other related duties as required and assigned.
Qualified candidates must be proficient in the use of a PC, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software and possess thorough knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and a working knowledge of general federal industry regulations. Exceptional interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communication skills are required along with the ability to give constructive feedback to employees. Willingness to travel and work a flexible schedule necessary. Understanding of electrical construction trade preferred. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2-5 years in the safety field. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field preferred.

Position description: Our client is looking for someone who can build a strong safety program as the operation will grow form 350 to 650 people as another plant in the Midwest is shutting down and moving all product manufacturing to this site. Strong preference for someone with engineering background as this person will drive safety efforts as addition is built onto existing plant and equipment is installed along with high levels of activity. This position is 80% safety and 20% environmental.

- BS degree with preference in Safety or Engineering
- Experience required - 6 Years +

Chosen candidate must be a high energy, self-directed EHS professional with exposure to PSM and experience and/or knowledge of OSHA VPP or similar recognized management systems.
To be considered for this position, the following criteria must be met:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineer, Chemistry or a related EHS field (Engineering preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive hands-on, in-plant HSE experience, developing, implementing and managing multiple HSE programs
- Previous experience in PSM(strongly preferred), environmental permitting, safety compliance and performance, training & development
- Ability to respond to and resolve complex health, safety and environmental questions and concerns
- Must have excellent leadership, planning & execution skills
